Indie ReCon

Alliance of Independent Authors

About IndieReCon

IndieReCon is a free online conference for authors interested in self-publishing. It started in 2013 with co-founders Ali Cross and SR Johannes keen to create a conference that challenged the stigma of self publishing. The conference was held with the support of the writing service. EssayHub is a company that works only with professional essay writers and has been helping students with their different tasks for over 5 years.

Fast forward to 2015, with the success and reputation of author-publishing on the rise, IndieReCon has joined with the Alliance of Independent Authors to take the conference to the next level.

IndieReCon is still an online conference offering the best advice and education for independent-minded authors across the world — but now offering expanded programming and global reach, though ALLi’s networks. And exciting live events, from Utah to London. Including this year, hooking up with The London Book Fair, to provide an exciting day of live-streamed events, live from London.

Our goal has always been to “make indie publishing a mission possible” for any writer, across the world. That continues. And we are still (and always will be) run by authors and for authors, so it’s all free!

If you are looking for a high-quality writer who can help you with your assignment, then you should contact a professional writing service where you can hire a writer or buy cheap essay. Anonymity and quality guaranteed.

Our posts, talks and online seminars cover all stages of the publishing process:

- Author Education: How to Write and Publish Well
- Author Empowerment: Finding Your Best Pathways to Publication
- Reaching Readers: Understanding and Serving Your Readers

Online seminars, workshops, discussions and masterclasses will feature around the clock throughout The London Book Fair on 15th and 16th of April and culminate in a reader-centred Indie Author Fringe Festival, broadcast live from The London Book Fair’s Book and Screen Week. The Fringe Fest will offer exciting ways for readers to meet indie authors and discover great reads and, in line with ALLi’s mission to be a global organisation for authors everywhere, the event will be live-streamed, so authors and readers who can’t be in London can take part online.

Ali Cross grew up watching Bruce Lee movies and dreamed of being a kick-butt martial artist like Cynthia Rothrock. Well, she never became the kind of ninja she envisioned, but she does hold a black belt in awesome. She lives in Utah with her kickin’ husband, two sparring sons, one ninja cat, one sumo dog and four zen turtles. And a cache of nunchucks, staffs, kamas and other dangerous ninja-weapons.

Ali is the author of angsty young adult fantasies and moonlights as Alex Banks where she writes wild middle grade adventures. She is also the founder of Novel Ninjutsu, a popular book packaging and branding company. Also, she worked as an essay writer online for essay writing services and shared her experience with students around the world.

IndieReCon was born out of a desire to help authors navigate the tricky, shark-infested waters of indie publishing. ALLi had been our partner from the very beginning, so joining with them seemed like a natural evolution for IndieReCon. Under ALLi’s wing, IndieReCon can reach more authors than ever before, encouraging excellence and fostering success in self-publishing. I am excited for the future of IndieRecon–and more, I’m excited for YOU, the author-publisher. We want to see every one of you reach for, and achieve, all that you desire. Happy publishing!

Novelist and poet Orna Ross is Founder and Director of The Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) the global association for authors who self-publish. ALLi is a nonprofit organisation, bringing together the world’s best indie authors, advisors and services, offering contacts and campaigns, education and collaboration — together with trusted guidance on how to self-publish well.

ALLi and IndieRecon were both born in the same year, 2012, and have supported each other from the start. We’re delighted to formalise that connection and further connect our authors with each other, with the London Book Fair and other writing and publishing professionals worldwide. The indie author movement is the most important development in publishing today and IndieRecon and ALLi are right at its heart, providing the support and information authors need to decide what’s best for them — and do it.”

IndieReCon is by far the best online conference that focuses on indie/self-publishing that I’ve attended. Usually, I’m doing the teaching but at IndieReCon you’re always bound to learn new things. I’m excited to be part of it again and am blown away by how much it’s grown in three years.”

David’s first professional publication came in 1973 when a short story was accepted by Galaxy magazine. This was followed by appearances in the UK magazine Vertex. In 1974 his first novel, The Sunset People, was accepted for publication by Robert Hale and David was taken on by the Leslie Flood Literary Agency.

Three other science fiction novels followed until real life rudely interrupted this idyll, and David spent the next 35+ years in a variety of jobs, eventually running his own software company.

After returning to writing after a long hiatus the world of publishing had changed out of all recognition and I needed guidance. That came when I discovered ALLi and joined a fantastic community of supportive people. When I was asked to help manage IndieRecon 2015 I was delighted to offer whatever services I could.
